About AKJ

AKJ

I love music. And sounds. And the possibilities that the use of digital technologies opens up. That's why I've been intensively involved with the latest technological trends in audio and music for almost 30 years - from the first experiments with FM synthesis or MIDI music to the latest software for AI-supported sound processing.

I have been a »music freak« since my youth. I listen to a wide range of music in various genres (from classical to alternative to electronic). The main thing is that the music is interesting and grabs me emotionally and/or intellectually. Of course, I am also musically active myself in various constellations and have also been active as a DJ (the highlight was a performance at the »Live Ball« in the Vienna City Hall). Together with Kirstie Handel, I wrote several children's plays and also composed/produced the stage music. But I have been involved in many other areas of art/culture. For example, I was a member of the board of the Münchner Literaturbüro for many years and was involved in projects at the Kunstverein München, the Kunstverein Salzburg and the Künstlerhaus Stuttgart.

My main job, however, was in social research for over 20 years (look at https://www.power-xs.net/jain). But I recently decided to focus more on my passion for music and sound – one element being the offer of mixing and mastering services here (backed up by an Audio Diploma course at HOFA). In the future, however, I will also publish my own compositions/productions. Rather with an orchestral/acoustic touch on akj-music.de and more electronic/experimental on klangwunde.de.
